​MEET AMANDA COTTRELL
Amanda serves as a counselor at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Counseling Ministry, primarily working with females and couples.
She is married to Matt and has two children, ages six and 9 months. She experienced the loss of a miscarriage in 2010 and is passionate about allowing a safe space for others to share their pain and loss and to know they are not alone in their journey of grief and healing.
​MEET DAPHNE PETREY
In January 2007, Daphne's world was turned upside down when her son, Daniel, was born at 36 weeks gestation and died two days later. On her grief journey, Daphne often felt all alone. Daphne wrote a book for grieving families, "I Have a Brother - My Brother is In Heaven" and encourages grieving mothers regularly.

Daphne thanks the Lord each day for getting to do life with her husband, Dustin, and three daughters.
​MEET DUSTIN PETREY
In 2007, Dustin was excited to meet his son, Daniel, who would share his initials and hopefully his love to hunt and fish. When Daniel's life ended after two days, Dustin began to hurt in ways he did not know were possible. Through his grief journey, he has learned many tools to help and been able to help numerous men as they walk alongside their families.
Dustin works at Samaritan's Purse and enjoys hunting and fishing with this three daughters while giving his wife a nice break.
